  1. It sounds like Bowie, threw his voicebox and thoughts in a bag, with every instrument known to man at that time, shook it up, threw it in the sea and recovered it on a hot day one summer.

  2. This is my my all-time favourite Bowie tune.

  3. The best song ever written

  15. que rolota de las mejores de Bowie sin duda alguna

  16. Those heady days of ‘76 & ‘77!! At long last I am reunited with this, D.B.’s absolute totally brilliant masterpiece!! Even if he was on cocaine at the time of producing this gem, I wish, he would have stayed on the drugs for longer- and hence might have given us even more of his musical genius in this vein!
Anyway, I too was on the whacky backy the first time I heard this on its release…need I say more?!!

  17. His picture looks like it was taken from movie The Man Who Fell To Earth, which is a very long movie that I have yet to watch all the way through without stopping

  18. is he a singer or composer. I thought he was a singer but he doesn’t say a fucking word is this steaming pile of shit

  19. Did you actually listen all the way through? Bowie sings and composes, there’s no rule about him not being able to do both in one song.

  20. Ghostsss.. this is very much a Bowie classic with bowie at his best… high on coke sitting in a berlin studio.

  21. its a synthy album that you just chill to, its not there to critique anything like vocals or anything.. inspired the downward spiral by nine inch nails, (especially a warm place) so you see what i mean

  22. I don’t know, I think I like The Sea and Cake’s cover better

  23. what an honor
