part of it may be true but if it werent for presley, music today wouldnt be what it was today….. like presley pretty much influenced the beatles, acdc, queen, bon jovi etc…… rock now isnt great anymore like it use to be but after presle,,, the 70’s and 80’s were awesome and music was nothing before presley and was dying out… especially the rock n roll area

He took music from the jazz and blues musicians and marketed it and in the process took all the $ and credit from the true music pioneers.
